for this kind of work its better use Encaustic, the acrylic kill the color, and loose every inicial texture

Encaustic is beautiful. Do you thunk that it would be well suited for someone who works very fast? Speed is part of my creative process.

Sure, you can work and then leave to dry, im agree with you about speed, its a kind of paint that need spontanous, but when your paint its talking about colour you should show real colour.
Leave the paintbrush, and take a palette knife, the expression will grow ;)
